This intense little gem of a tale tells the story about a young couple living on a military base and battling an addiction that can seem innocent, but which soon threatens to break them apart.I won't reveal too much, but it's a creative take on a problem that doesn't get much attention in the media, but which can plainly have serious consequences. Everything in the story is very believable, and the description of the characters resonates with me. The story has a nice twist at the end also. I found it an engrossing read, and because it's pretty short, it flew by in no time. So it's good news that this is the prelude to a whole series about the main character in this story. I can't wait to read more.

What a powerful story of how a relationship can be affected by distractions. It graphically depicts how fragile love can be when partners view sexuality differently. This book really touched me on many levels. I am so thankful that I had an opportunity to read it.
Excellent book although the character in the book took the extreme route. I was very surprised by the ending. Excellent read
